Sydney Roosters star James Tedesco and his wife Maria have welcomed their first child, a baby boy.

The couple shared the beautiful family news on Saturday, September 24th 2023, with a photo of their newborn son.

"We are so happy to announce the birth of our son, Teddy," the couple wrote on Instagram.

"He was born on September 23rd, 2023, at 9:05am, weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces.

"Mum and bub are both happy and healthy, and we are so grateful for all the love and support we have received."

Tedesco and Maria were married in 2020, and they announced they were expecting their first child in April 2023.

The couple have not yet shared any photos of Teddy's face, but they have said that he is "perfect" and that they are "so in love with him".
